Executive Director's Message

On behalf of President J. Maichle Bacon and the Executive Council, welcome to www.ipha.com, the Web site of the Illinois Public Health Association.  It is our hope that this site will serve as a valuable and useful informational tool for our officers, committees and sections, as well as for our nearly 7,000 Association members.  This site provides links to many state and national organizations and interest areas and serves as a contact point for current news about the Association's activities, legislative updates, and important upcoming events.

Activities at the Association are changing and expanding frequently, with new postings for conferences and workshops of the Association and of our partner organizations.  Our Policy and Legislative pages is updated frequently throughout the year, detailing the Association's positions and action plans in response to a broad range of public health issues.  You can also access reports and updates on our numerous programs and initiatives, as well as download the latest versions of the Association's Viewpoint newsletter.
