IPHA has 28 fulltime AmeriCorps member positions available in multiple local health departments, health agencies or community-based agencies across the state for the period of 11 months.

Members perform activities such as:
After-school programming
Health Promotion
Homeland Security
Nutrition Education
Volunteer Coordination
Flu Vaccine Clinics
Smoking Cessation
Term begins September 1, 2010 and ends August 2, 2011.
Positions are fulltime. Some travel is required.
Members must be able to provide their own transportation and proof of insurance, at least 18 years of age by 9/1/2010 and must be a U.S. Citizen.
