The Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Public Health Association are pleased to present the 2008 Illinois Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Summit. The PHEP Summit brings together not only representatives from local health departments and hospitals throughout Illinois, but also liaisons from local, regional and state emergency response agencies as well as private industry. The Summit program strives to focus on critical public health preparedness issues as well as continuing to emphasize the importance of cross-disciplinary and cross-agency cooperation, coordination and collaboration. The PHEP Summit attracts nearly 900 attendees and offers a remarkable program agenda, extraordinary plenary speakers, and exciting networking opportunities.
