Raising the profile of the critical role played by the public health system in Illinois is a key and ambitious goal of the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA).  Every day, as meetings are held with legislators, presentations are made at public meetings and media conferences are conducted, public health workers are making a difference.  IPHA has a pivotal role in getting public health noticed in Illinois: How our work is organized and supported must be made increasingly visible and important to policy makers.  But we as IPHA members can’t succeed alone in our advocacy efforts.  We need the help of our associates and our constituencies in pa . . .
