The Division of Mental Health of the Illinois Department of Human Services is sponsoring a one-day conference, “Changes in the Illinois Mental Health Code: Understanding the Legal, Clinical and Social Implications”, to be held in Chicago and Springfield. This training event covers the significant changes in the Mental Health Code that will impact the continuum of services provided by hospitals, community agencies, law enforcement, state’s attorneys offices and the courts. Panelists will provide participants with information on the new and existing statutes. Registration deadline is May 14th.
