This event is an excellent opportunity to increase your awareness of legislative issues affecting public health, to foster relationships with state legislators and other state dignataries, and to gain education in the practical aspects of public health advocacy.

The IPHA 69th Annual Meeting and Legislative Action Day activities, which span two days this year, include IPHA section summits and business meeting, interactive educational sessions on effective advocacy techniques, briefings on legislative issues currently before the state legislature and Congress, and a full afternoon at the State Capitol meeting with legislators and their staff.
