Continuing Education Credits

The IDHS/DDD, as licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to sponsor continuing education units (CEUs) for training events, is reviewing the program for approval for the following licensed attendees: Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Advanced Practice Nurse (APN),   Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

The Illinois Public Health Association is a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing Inc.  This program is a designated event for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) Category I CECH.

Each person seeking continuing education credits is required to complete an online evaluation within 30 days in order to be eligible for their certificate. Certificates will be e-mailed within 60 days after the conclusion of the training to participants who have completed an evaluation.
