Building a Longer Table with IPHA and African Immigrant Women

About: This program will help support and educate how to access healthy eating resources to African immigrant women in Illinois. Participants can expect a nutrition class, two cooking classes, and more! There is need to empower our knowledge about shopping skills, shopping on a budget smartly, increasing vegetable and fruit intake, and more to better our health!
Who Should Attend: African immigrant women and those who have access to platforms like Slack and Zoom (via computer or phone).
Important Information: A $50 stipend will be awarded to participants who attend and complete each of the courses. Space is limited and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration closes May 10 or when all available spots have been filled, whichever comes first.
