On Friday, Nov. 8 the American Association of Diabetes Educators, Illinois Coordinating Body, is holding a Diabetes Symposium for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists in Bloomington, IL. In this full day of programming they will review the 2019 update of diabetes medications and technology, adherence and tolerance, understand Diabetes Distress and the PWD perspective, learn to manage gastroparesis, improve communication with eye care specialists and gain hands-on-knowledge and experience with DM devices. The Illinois Prairie Diabetes Alliance will be holding a free community diabetes education event on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Dove Conference Center in Springfield, IL. For more information and to register by Nov. 7, please contact Mary at 217-814-4308.
