ICAAP Adolescent Health Education Training Series-Part 2
The Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics has received funding through the Illinois Adolescent Health Program (IAHP) to host a series of educational training's designed to assist pediatric providers with addressing the unique needs of adolescents and their families.
Part 1 of the training series provided information on transitioning youth to adult healthcare, sexual health counseling, the teen brain, Bright Futures guidelines, and the incorporation of social media in the healthcare setting, all of which are now located on ICAAP's learning management system! Part 2 focuses on the trending topics below and will share vital information and resources that pediatric providers can use when caring for adolescent patients.
