Call for Poster Session Abstracts - IPHHSP Summit & IPHA Annual Meeting

Working on something exciting and innovative in the area of Public Health or Medical Preparedness and Response? Show it off in a Poster Session at the 2015 Integrated Public Health and Healthcare System Preparedness Summit, held in conjunction with IPHA’s 74th Annual Meeting!

Participating in the poster presentation provides an opportunity to:

  • Be part of a premiere event attended by nearly 1,000 professionals.
  • Exhibit for your peers and advance your professional reputation.
  • Promote your experience to an engaged audience.
  • Contribute to the industry knowledge base.

To be considered for a Poster Session, you must submit a Poster Session Abstract online by April 15, 2015 which includes a brief description of your project/topic (200 words or less). Topics may include, but are not limited to academic or field research, innovative demonstration/pilot projects, disaster response lessons learned, healthcare preparedness, and public-private partnerships.

Selected participants are expected to be onsite at the summit on June 17, 2015 to set up their poster, and present their display during the designated time below to answer any questions from attendees. Each display will be a 36” x 48” informational poster. The poster session is intended to be casual and conversational; there will be no formal presentation.

 Wednesday, June 17, 2015

7:00am – 8:00am      Poster display set-up

8:00am – 9:00am      Poster presenter onsite at display to answer questions

8:00am – 5:00pm      Poster displays open for viewing

Each Poster Session abstract that is accepted will include one (1) FREE conference registration ($100). Additional authors for each Poster Session will be responsible for payment of the conference fee if they choose to attend. Full attendance for Poster authors is not required. Applicants will be notified regarding their acceptance by April 30, 2015. Attendees will vote for their favorite poster presentation and the winning author will receive an award!


ALL Abstracts MUST be submitted ONLINE at no later than April 15, 2015!
