The Awards Committee for the 77th Annual Conference is requesting nominations for this year’s public health awards. All nominations must be submitted online by August 3. The awards will be presented during the Annual Conference at the Friends of Public Health Celebration.

The awards will be presented at the Friends of Public Health Celebration that will be held during the IPHA 77th Annual Conference on the evening of Wednesday, September 6, 2018. Deadline to submit award nominations is July 29, 2018!

IDPH’s internship program offers college students an opportunity to learn from everyone around you, ask questions, and most importantly, gain an educational experience to enhance one’s development by learning firsthand how a state agency operates.

The Department of Education released new Title IX guidelines on campus sexual assault. These new guidelines will make it harder for sexual assault victims to seek justice against their attackers. In April, the Department of Education will begin to accept feedback on the new Title IX guidelines.

The purpose of the Forums are to expose students to the many growing careers paths available in the rural health arena and how they are not all related to direct patient care. *The Forums are free but registration is required to get an accurate headcount.

The Forums will help students gain insight on the many careers paths they can take in rural health and the best way to get there.

This application is for students seeking an undergraduate degree. Each applicant should be an accepted student at an accredited institution of higher learning such as a community college, private institution or certified vocational training program.
