We're pleased to inform you about an exciting opportunity for local health departments looking to strengthen relationships with local employers and reduce the burden of chronic disease among their employees!

Connect to Wellness was developed by researchers at the University of Washington (UW) to increase adoption of evidence-based health promotion practices in the workplace. The program focuses on healthy foods and beverages, physical activity, tobacco cessation, and cancer screening. New materials addressing pandemic preparedness and vaccinations are also being added. It provides employers with tailored recommendations and intervention support via health department staff trained to work directly with local worksites. The program is free to employers, and all training, technical assistance, and program materials are free to health department staff as well.
