NPHW 'I am Public Health' Student Photo Contest

Calling all public health students! To celebrate National Public Health Week, and Public Health Student Day we want to see YOUR passion for public health.

We are holding our first National Public Health Week ‘I am Public Health’ Student Photo Contest!

We want you to submit your best public health photo that represents the theme ‘I am Public Health’.

All individual students that submit a photo by the deadline will have a chance to win a free registration to the IPHA 76th Annual Meeting!

Contest guidelines are listed below.

Contest Guidelines

1. SNAP A PHOTO: Print the ‘I am Public Health’ sign and have someone take a photo of you with the sign while representing a good public health practice.

The sign must be in the photo in order to be considered a valid photo contest entry. 

2. SUBMIT: Submit your photo via email to with the subject line 'Student Photo Contest' or through a Facebook message to the Illinois Public Health Association’s Facebook page

By submitting a photo, you provide consent for IPHA to use your photo on Facebook for the photo contest and possibly feature your photo in our web and print publications.

Submissions for the ‘I am Public Health’ Student Photo Contest will be accepted until NOON on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.

3. WIN: Photos will be posted to the IPHA Facebook page on Thursday, April 6 for public viewing and voting.

Voting will continue through Friday, April 7. The contest winner will be determined by the photo with the most ‘likes’ and will receive a free registration to the IPHA 76th Annual Meeting.

The top 5 photos with the most 'likes' will be recognized on Facebook and featured in IPHA’s Viewpoint Newsletter.
